SOUTH SIMCOE POLICE RECOVER OVER $68,000 IN STOLEN GOODS AND STOLEN VEHICLE FOLLOWING RETAIL THEFT REPORT
(BRADFORD, ON) – On December 8, 2025, at approximately 11:45 a.m., the South Simcoe Police Service responded to a report of a retail theft at a business in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Police arrived on scene and observed a vehicle matching the suspect description fleeing from the scene near Miller Park Avenue and Melbourne Drive. During the incident, the driver lost control and collided with a home on Royal Court. Two occupants fled from the scene, running through backyards of homes on Imperial Crescent, Crown Crescent, and Maplegrove Avenue. Officers quickly contained the neighbourhood, and both suspects were located and arrested without further incident.

The vehicle driven by the suspects had been reported stolen from Durham Region in mid-November and is valued at more than $60,000. Police recovered a significant quantity of stolen property from the vehicle valued at over $8,000, that has been returned accordingly.
