NO INSURANCE TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO DRUG RELATED CHARGES

(BRADFORD, ON) – South Simcoe Police Uniform Patrol arrest and charge an individual following a traffic stop that resulted in the seizure of suspected methamphetamine.

On November 29, 2025, at approximately 12:50 a.m., during the investigation of a blue Hyundai Sonata being operated without proper insurance on Holland Street West in Bradford West Gwillimbury, police observed an open alcoholic beverage in the centre console of the vehicle, that subsequently resulted in a search of the vehicle. As a result of the search, officers located and seized a quantity of suspected methamphetamine from within the vehicle.

A 31-year-old male from Barrie was arrested and charged with:

– Possession of a Schedule I Substance
– Possession for the Purpose Schedule I
– Owner Operate Motor vehicle on a highway no insurance

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on January 8, 2026.
