Auxiliary

Job Description

Serving as an Auxiliary member with the South Simcoe Police Service is an exciting and rewarding volunteer opportunity. Auxiliary Constables assist with various community events, such as festivals, parades, street parties, and sporting events.

Through their volunteer work, Auxiliary members gain valuable insights into the world of policing. They have the opportunity to join our sworn officers on ride-alongs and experience the day-to-day life of a police officer first-hand.

If you are considering a career in policing, becoming an Auxiliary Constable is an excellent way to determine if this is the right path for you. In fact, many of our sworn officers began their careers as Auxiliary Constables.

We are currently accepting applications for Auxiliary officers. All applications must be submitted online to uniform.recruiting@southsimcoepolice.ca
