INVESTIGATION INTO ATTEMPTED ARSON – POLICE SEEKING INFORMATION

(BRADFORD, ON) – On October 30, 2025, at approximately 6:15 a.m., a security guard working in a residential area of Bradford West Gwillimbury called police after observing two suspects causing damage to a residence. When the security guard confronted the two suspects, it became apparent they were attempting to start a fire. The two suspects quickly fled the area in a dark coloured SUV. The SUV was last observed travelling southbound on County Road 27 near the intersection of County Road 88.

South Simcoe Police officers secured the area near the residence and began to investigate the incident. Investigators determined that the two suspects approached the residence with a liquid accelerant and attempted to start a fire.

Additionally, if anyone was travelling on County Road 27 near the intersection of County Road 88 on October 30, 2025, at 6:15 a.m. and has dash camera footage available please contact the police.
