A career with a police service can be one of the most rewarding and challenging career choices. Civilian members play an important role in the South Simcoe Police Service. The South Simcoe Police Service is a progressive-minded and technologically advanced police service that requires qualified, competent and committed men and women to work in partnership with the community in preventing crime and keeping our communities safe. If you are interested in policing, but do not necessarily want to become a police officer, you may consider a position as a Civilian. The South Simcoe Police Service employs Civilians in the following capacities: Communicators, Special Constables, Records Clerks, and Administrative Staff.
