SECOND SUSPECT ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO BRADFORD RETAIL ROBBERY AND ASSAULT
(BRADFORD, ON) – This update follows a media release issued on January 5, 2026, and an update issued on January 21 and 28, 2026, regarding the South Simcoe Police investigation into the January 4, 2026, incident involving a robbery and a person assaulted at Walmart in the Town of Bradford.
On January 28, 2026, Cody Wayne SMITH was arrested by members of the South Simcoe Police Service Crimes Against Persons (CAP) unit. Cody Wayne SMITH has been charged with the following offences:
• Robbery with Weapon
• Theft Under $5000
• Possession Property Obtained by Crime
The accused has been released on an Undertaking with conditions.
