SOUTH SIMCOE POLICE CHARGE TWO DRIVERS FOLLOWING AN ASSAULT AND DANGEROUS DRIVING INCIDENT IN BWG

(BRADFORD, ON) – On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at approximately 11:15 a.m., Uniform Patrol officers from the South Simcoe Police Service responded to multiple reports of a road rage incident that began on Highway 400 northbound and continued onto the County Road 88 off-ramp in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

Upon arrival on scene, officers determined that two vehicles, a grey Audi AQ3 and a black Acura RDX were involved in a road rage incident on Highway 400 that escalated into a verbal dispute between the two drivers after the vehicles pulled over and stopped on the County Road 88 off-ramp.

During the verbal dispute between the two drivers, a grey Dodge Ram was observed travelling the wrong way on the on ramp. A male party, observed to be wearing an outlaw motorcycle gang vest, exited this grey Dodge Ram and approached the driver of the Audi AQ3. At this time, the driver of he Dodge Ram physically assaulted the Audi driver and used force to take their cell phone.

South Simcoe Police Uniform Patrol officers identified all parties involved that subsequently resulted in multiple criminal charges being laid.

A 51-year-old man from Bradford has been charged with the following offences:

• Dangerous Operation – two counts
• Robbery
• Intimidation
• Assault
• Cause disturbance
• Drive Motor Vehicle – Stunt

The accused driver’s licence has been suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle impounded for 14 days.

A 43-year-old female from Bradford has been charged with the following offences:

Intimidation
• Cause Disturbance
• Operate Motor Vehicle with Hand-Held Communication Device
• Interfere with Traffic

Both accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on November 27, 2025.
