SOUTH SIMCOE POLICE INVESTIGATE BREAK AND ENTER IN BWG
(BRADFORD, ON) – On Friday, October 24, 2025, at around 1:10 a.m., South Simcoe Police received a call regarding a break and enter in progress at a local Tim Horton’s.
Officers arrived at the business a couple minutes later and immediately located one of the parties involved attempting to leave the scene with the stolen items. During investigation it was discovered the suspects had broken into the exterior fridge and freezer of the business and stolen multiple items. The first suspect, a 47-year-old male of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with:
• Break and Enter – C.C. Section 348(1)(a)
• Theft Under $5000 – C.C. Section 334(b)
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – C.C. Section 354(1)(a)
• Mischief Under $5000 – C.C. Section 430(4)
• Possession of Break in Instruments – C.C. Section 351(1)
Police determined that a second male suspect, wearing dark coloured clothing, had been involved in the theft before fleeing the area on foot. Officers including the K9 Unit searched the area, however the suspect remains outstanding.
