(INNISFIL, ON) – On August 10, 2026, at approximately 10:00 pm, South Simcoe Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle in the area of 6th Line and Sideroad 10 in the Town of Innisfil.
As a result of the collision, a 45-year-old male was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Office of the Chief Coroner has been notified and is assisting with the investigation.
The involved vehicle and driver remained at the scene. The driver has been cooperative with police.
South Simcoe Police Traffic Unit officers are investigating the collision. The investigation remains ongoing.
