Innisfil Break-and-Enter Investigation Leads to Charges Against Man with Violent-Related History

Tribute to Our Fallen Officers Kuzmich, Northrup, Russell

(INNISFIL, ON) – Members of the South Simcoe Police Service Street Crime Unit have arrested and charged a man following an investigation into several incidents involving break-and-enters and the theft of a lockbox from a property in the Town of Innisfil.

Between June 1 and July 18, 2026, the accused, Michal NOWACZEK-SAID, attended a property in the Town of Innisfil on multiple occasions and allegedly stole a lockbox containing a key to the residence. Following an investigation conducted over several weeks, officers identified and arrested NOWACZEK-SAID on September 17, 2026.

As a result of the investigation, NOWACZEK-SAID has been charged with:

  • Theft Under $5,000, C.C. section 334(b);
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, C.C. section 354(1)(a); and
  • Breaking and Entering – Non-Residence, C.C. section 348(1)(a) – two counts.

The accused has a documented history of violent-related matters. His name is being released in the interest of public safety and awareness.
