Monday to Friday: 8 a.m – 4 p.m
Closed on Statutory Holidays

Important Information: Collisions that occur within either municipality must be reported at the Bradford CRC location.

The Collision Reporting Centre is a crucial facility designed for the public to report traffic collisions. By doing so, you ensure compliance with provincial legal requirements and meet insurance obligations. Under Ontario law, it is essential to report all collisions that result in personal injury or where the total property damage exceeds $5,000 across all vehicles involved.

Additionally, drivers involved in property damage collisions are required to report to a Collision Reporting Centre within 48 hours. If your vehicle is disabled and needs towing, the tow company will transport both you and your vehicle directly to the Collision Reporting Centre from the scene of the incident.

Bring the following documents with you:

  • Driver’s license
  • Vehicle ownership
  • Insurance

The driver must attend with the vehicle.

You can also begin your report online before arriving. Once submitted, you will receive a reference number. Bring this number with you, and staff will verify your documents and assist with finalizing your report.

Upon arrival, an ASSI staff member will:

  • Assist you in completing the police report
  • Apply the official “Damage Reported to Police” sticker
  • Photograph the damage to your vehicle
  • Offer assistance to contact family, your broker, or insurance company

This one-stop service ensures reporting is completed quickly, safely, and conveniently.

  • Moves reporting from the roadside to a safe indoor location, reducing the risk of secondary collisions and injuries
  • Frees police officers to respond to higher-priority calls for service
  • Provides insurers with accurate reporting while offering support to accident victims
  • Helps police identify traffic patterns and high-risk locations through advanced analytics, contributing to improved road safety
