(INNISFIL, ON) – Members of the South Simcoe Police Street Crime Unit have arrested a male and a female in connection with an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. On December 23, 2025, the Street Crime Unit, with assistance from the Emergency Response Unit, Canine Unit, and Community Response Unit, executed a search warrant in the Town of Innisfil as part of a drug investigation. Officers seized quantities of cocaine and crack cocaine with an estimated street value of approximately $20,000, along with Canadian currency and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
As a result, a 61-year-old male from Toronto was arrested and charged with the following offences:
• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine) ×2
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine) ×2
• Possession of a controlled substance (Cocaine) ×2
• Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 ×1
• Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code ×3
• Dangerous operation of a conveyance ×1
And, a 54-year-old female from Innisfil was arrested and charged with the following offences:
• Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (Cocaine) ×2
• Possession of a controlled substance (Cocaine) ×2
• Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 ×1
• Fail to comply with prohibition order ×1
Both accused have been held for a bail hearing.
