South Simcoe Police Service was formed in 1997 through the amalgamation of Bradford West Gwillimbury and Innisfil Police Service. The Service continues to grow with the expansion of both municipalities located in southern Simcoe County.
Bradford West Gwillimbury – Offers a return to the small town charm and sense of community long lost in larger urban centers. An attractive mix of urban and rural environments provides a quality lifestyle for all.
Innisfil – Innisfil is located on the western shore of Lake Simcoe in Simcoe County. The township comprises of many small communities including Alcona, Cookstown, Lefroy, Belle Ewart and Stroud.

The South Simcoe Police Service is a progressive-minded and technologically advanced police service that requires qualified, competent and committed men and women to work in partnership with the community in preventing crime and keeping our communities safe. If you are interested in policing, but do not necessarily want to become a police officer, you may consider a position as a Civilian. The South Simcoe Police Service employs Civilians in the following capacities: Communicators, Special Constables, Records Clerks, and Administrative Staff.
