Impaired Driving/Over 80
(Bradford, ON) A 33-year-old Holland Landing man is charged with impaired driving and Over 80 following an incident outside a Bradford home.
On Tuesday, November 27, 2018 around 11:00 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to a home in the Holland St. West and Barrie St. area for a report of an unwanted person. Police were told that a woman’s ex-boyfriend was damaging a lawn with his vehicle. When officers arrived, the man was arrested. Following a breath test he was charged with Over 80 and Impaired Driving. He was released with a future court date.
Impaired driving remains the leading criminal cause of death in Canada. According to MADD Canada, every day, on average, up to four Canadians are killed in alcohol and/or drug-related motor vehicle collisions and hundreds more are injured. Please stop. Assault With A Weapon
(Innisfil, ON) A 28-year-old Innisfil woman is charged with Assault With A Weapon and Possession of a Weapon For Dangerous Purpose following a domestic incident in Innisfil.
On Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 7:10 p.m., police responded to a 911 call where a woman on scene told police she had been assaulted by her spouse. Through investigation, officers determined that the spouse had been assaulted with a weapon. The 27-year-old Innisfil man declined medical attention for a minor injury. A woman was arrested, transported to North Division where she was charged and later released with a future court date. Police recovered a weapon at the scene.
