(Innisfil, ON) On Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at approximately 8:30 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were dispatched to the area of Innisfil Beach Road and Highway 400 of Innisfil for a report of a suspected impaired driver. Upon arrival, police observed a vehicle driving erratically westbound on Innisfil Beach Road and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to North Division.
As a result of the investigation, 55-year-old Paul Addison of no fixed address was charged with Operation While Impaired, Operation While Impaired-Excess Blood Alcohol and Driving While Under Suspension. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for 45 days.
