(Bradford, ON) A 72-year-old Bradford woman has died of her injuries suffered in an apartment fire.
On Tuesday, July 30, 2019 around 8:15 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers along with Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire and Emergency Services and County of Simcoe Paramedic Services responded to a fire at a ground floor apartment in a building on Centre Street in Bradford. A woman found inside the apartment was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. She was subsequently taken to a Toronto trauma centre where she succumbed to her injuries. An investigator with the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) attended the scene to assist with the investigation. The investigation is continuing, but the fire does not appear suspicious. The name of the victim is not being released.
