Thefts from vehicles are usually crimes of opportunity. Visible items tempt would-be thieves and make you prone to be a victim. We advise residents to remove all items from vehicles that will act as an invitation to thieves. If it is absolutely necessary to leave items in your vehicle, they should be locked in the trunk out of plain sight.
