UPDATE: Serious Collision
(Innisfil, ON) A 77-year-old Innisfil man has died in hospital as a result of injuries suffered in a collision.
On Wednesday, November 28, 2018 around 6:00 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to the intersection of 14th Line and 10th Sideroad for a two-vehicle collision that resulted in a rollover.
Four people were transported to a local hospital. Two were subsequently airlifted to Toronto hospitals and the others were treated locally and released.
The deceased man was a passenger in one of the vehicles. He passed away on December 2, 2018.
The investigation is continuing. Speed, seat belt use and stop sign compliance are among factors being examined as possible causes.
UPDATE: Fatal Collision
(Bradford, ON) A 71-year-old Bradford man was killed in a collision involving a transport truck and a vehicle.
On Friday, November 30, 2018 at 5:40 p.m., police responded to a collision involving a transport truck and an SUV on Yonge St. at the 12th Line. A man driving the SUV westbound on the 12th line of Bradford was pronounced dead at the scene. His female passenger remains in hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the transport truck was treated at the scene.
The investigation is continuing. Stop sign compliance is among factors being examined as possible causes.
