(Bradford, ON) Two men are facing drug charges following a vehicle stop in Bradford.
On Tuesday, April 16, 2019 around 11:00 p.m., a South Simcoe Police officer observed a vehicle parked in a fire route area in the parking lot of an apartment building on Holland Street West. The officer approached the vehicle and while speaking with the two occupants, the officer observed drug paraphernalia. Further investigation led to the seizure of a quantity of suspected crack cocaine. A 29-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with Drug Possession and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. A 33-year-old Keswick man was charged with Drug Possession. The accused were released with future court dates.

(Bradford, ON) A 26-year-old Holland Landing woman is charged with Over 80 following a traffic stop in Bradford.
On Tuesday, April 16, 2019 around 3:30 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer observed a vehicle travelling erratically and at a high rate of speed on Dissette Street. The officer conducted a vehicle stop and detected an odour of aclohol. A demand was made for a roadside screening device test which resulted in a fail. The driver was transported to South Division for further testing. Results were registered at nearly three times the legal limit of alcohol. The driver was charged with Over 80. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days.
Traffic safety is a top priority for us and officers are always keeping a watchful eye for impaired drivers. Thanks to this traffic stop, an impaired driver was apprehended.
