TWO INDIVIDUALS CHARGED BY SOUTH SIMCOE POLICE AFTER ROAD RAGE INCIDENT ESCALATES TO ASSAULT

(BRADFORD, ON) – On Monday, November 17, 2025, at approximately 6:40 p.m., officers from the South Simcoe Police Service responded to a disturbance call in a local residential neighbourhood. Upon arrival on scene, officers determined that two vehicles had been involved in a road rage incident that resulted in a physical altercation.

The driver of the first vehicle flashed their high beams at a second vehicle, a grey Honda CRV, that was observed travelling at a high rate of speed in a residential area. A verbal dispute then occurred between the two drivers which resulted in the second vehicle following the first vehicle to the owner’s home where the owner was confronted and physically assaulted by the driver and passenger of the second vehicle. As a result of the investigation, South Simcoe Police officers charged two individuals with the following:

A 20-year-old man from Bradford has been charged with the following offences:

• Assault – C.C. Section 266
• Failure to Comply with Undertaking – C.C. Section 145(4)(a)

A 20-year-old female from Bradford has been charged with the following offences:

• Assault – C.C. Section 266
• Assault with a Weapon – C.C. Section 267(a)

Both accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in December.

South Simcoe Police are reminding the community that road rage is a serious issue that can quickly lead to dangerous or criminal behaviour. Police are urging drivers to stay calm behind the wheel and to use safe, non-confrontational strategies when faced with aggressive behaviour on the road.
