(Bradford, ON) On Saturday, September 5, 2020, around 3:30 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically northbound on Yonge Street in Bradford. At one point, the vehicle struck the southbound guardrail between Line 12 and Line 13 before continuing northbound. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was arrested. He was transported to South Division where breath tests readings were over the legal limit.
20-year-old Dustin Gregg-Kennedy of Innisfil was charged with Operation While Impaired, Over 80 and Failure to Stop After Accident. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days. No one was injured.
(Innisfil, ON) On Friday, September 4, 2020, around 9:00 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were dispatched to King Street South in Innisfil for a report of a vehicle that had struck a parked car and came to rest on a lawn. The driver failed a roadside screening device test and was arrested for impaired driving. He was transported to North Division where further testing resulted in readings over the legal limit. 34-year-old Terrance Lafitte of Guelph was charged with Operation While Impaired and Over 80. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days. There were no injuries.
