Police Week Open House

(Innisfil/Bradford, ON)  You are invited to help us celebrate Police Week 2019 at our annual Open House this Saturday, May 11, 2019.

We will be welcoming members of the public at our North and South Divisions. Stop by, meet our officers and learn about some of our specialized units including K9, Traffic Reconstruction,

Emergency Response Unit, Community Mobilization and Engagement Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit.

Some of our specialized vehicles will also be on display including our Command Post, motorcycle and new All Terrain Vehicles. Big thank you to the South Simcoe Police Service Auxiliary Unit and volunteers who will be helping us with the celebration, along with some of our community partners.

During the Open House, we are also holding a prescription pill drop-off. Police welcome the public to drop off their expired, unused or no longer needed medications. These medications could be either narcotic or non-narcotic. This service is free and anonymous to individuals dropping off the prescription medications, with no questions asked.

The Open House and prescription drop-off events run from:

North Division 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. located at 2137 Innisfil Beach Road, Innisfil

South Division 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. located at 81 Melbourne Drive, Bradford

This year, May 12 to 18 is designated Police Week in Ontario. The provincial theme for 2019 is Proudly Supporting Our Police“.

Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday!
