Impaired Driving Charges

From Thursday, May 20, 2021 to Tuesday, May 25, 2021, South Simcoe Police Service charged two people with impaired driving offences and issued three 3-Day licence suspensions.

(Innisfil, ON) On Thursday, May 20, 2021, at approximately 7:50 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver in Innisfil.
A traffic stop was conducted on Innisfil Beach Road near 25th Sideroad and the driver was arrested.

As a result of the investigation, 20-year-old James Slok of Innisfil was charged with Operation While Impaired, Operation While Impaired – Excess Blood Alcohol and Novice Driver – B.A.C. above zero. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.

(Innisfil, ON) On Thursday, May 20, 2021, at approximately 4:45 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run collision in Innisfil.
The caller reported that a driver had hit several parked cars on the street then drove away. Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Innisfil Beach Road and Ferguson Street and the driver was arrested. There were no injuries.

As a result of the investigation, 27-year-old Georgia Crane of Innisfil was charged with Dangerous Operation, Operation While Impaired, Operation While Impaired – Excess Blood Alcohol, Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence and Fail to Remain. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days.
