Sexual Assault Charge
(Innisfil, ON) The South Simcoe Police Service has charged a Barrie man following a sexual assault investigation in Innisfil.
On Monday, June 13, 2022, at approximately 2:00 p.m., a woman was sexually assaulted by an unknown male at a beach. The suspect fled the scene. The victim was not physically injured. As a result of the investigation, a man surrendered to police on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. 32-year-old Vladyslav Zinchenko of Barrie was charged with Sexual Assault. The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
Impaired Driving Charge
(Innisfil, ON) On Saturday, June 11, 2022, the South Simcoe Police Service responded to a three vehicle collision in the area of Leslie Drive and 25th Side Road in Innisfil.
No one was injured. As a result of the investigation, 44-year-old Maria Glezerov of Innisfil was charged with Operation While Impaired, Operation While Impaired – Excess Blood Alcohol, Dangerous Operation, Novice Driver B.A.C. Above Zero and Drive Motor Vehicle No Licence. Her vehicle was impounded for seven days and she was issued an administrative suspension of licence for 90 days.
