Over 80

(Bradford, ON) A 29-year-old Bradford man was charged with Over 80 after South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a report of a collision in a parking lot in Bradford.

On Tuesday, December 1, 2020, around 8:00 p.m., police arrived at the parking lot on Holland Street West and learned that a vehicle had struck a parked car. Police located the suspect vehicle and the driver who was placed under arrest following a roadside screening device test. He was transported to the South Division for further testing. As a result of the investigation, 29-year-old Stephen Boodhoo of Bradford was charged with Over 80. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days. There were no injuries as a result of the collision.

Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand 

(Innisfil, ON) On Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at 9:52 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officer patrolling Innisfil Beach Park in Innisfil located a vehicle parked and running near the boat launch. The driver was arrested following a roadside screening device test and transported to the North Division for further testing. As a result of the investigation, 57-year-old Heidi Wall of Innisfil was charged with Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days.

There is no excuse for impaired driving. That “short trip” where you think nothing can happen puts your safety and the lives of others at risk. Make better choices and plan ahead.
