Suspects Sought in Counterfeit Cash Investigation

(Bradford, ON) South Simcoe Police Service officers are appealing for the public’s help in a counterfeit cash investigation in Bradford.

On Wednesday, June 24, 2020, police were called to the Halibut House Fish & Chips restaurant located on Holland Street West after two men separately ordered food and paid using counterfeit Canadian bills. Officers are releasing security camera images in an effort to identify the men.

Suspect 1: White, in his 30’s, approximately 5’10”-6′ with a heavy build. His hair was short and brown. He wore a grey Blue Jays baseball cap, a dark colored jacket, light colored cargo shorts and was wearing flip flops with socks. He was wearing a blue medical style mask.

Suspect 2: White, in his late 30’s or 40’s, approximately 5’10”-6′ with a heavy build. His hair was short and brown. He wore a yellow colored button up shirt, untucked, dark chino pants and black casual shoes. He had a watch on his left wrist with an orange wrist band. He wore a white medical style mask.
