Loud Exhaust Leads to Suspended Driver
(Bradford, ON) On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, around 11:00 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer conducting traffic enforcement stopped a vehicle with a very loud exhaust on Holland Street West in Bradford. Investigation determined the driver’s licence was suspended. 30-year-old Diego Rolon of Barrie was charged with Drive Under Suspension, Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance, Improper Muffler and Improper Braking System. He was given a future court date and his vehicle was towed from the scene.
FYI: Loud mufflers are illegal under the Highway Traffic Act. The fines upon conviction for Improper Muffler and Unnecessary Noise are $110. Consider your neighbours and drive without unnecessary, loud disruptions.
