Warm Up Theft
(Bradford, ON) South Simcoe Police Service would like to warn residents not to leave vehicles running and unattended. We are investigating a warm-up theft that occurred around 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019. A vehicle was stolen from a driveway in the 10th Sideroad and 6th Line area. In these bone-chilling temperatures, we know the temptation is strong. Many drivers may decide to take the chance and warm their vehicles while they stay warm inside. But vehicles left running, unlocked and unattended are an open invitation to thieves. Protect yourself and don’t create this crime of opportunity.
