Prohibited Operation/Weapons Dangerous

(Bradford, ON) On Wednesday, January 27, 2021, around 10:40 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer conducted a traffic stop on Holland Street West in Bradford.
As a result of investigation, it was determined the driver’s licence was suspended. 32-year-old David Huynh of Bradford was charged with Operation While Prohibited. He was also charged with Weapons Dangerous after police seized brass knuckles that were found inside the vehicle. Huynh’s vehicle was impounded for 45 days and he was released on an undertaking.

Impaired Driving

(Innisfil, ON) On Monday, January 25, 2021, at approximately 7:00 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to a collision on Sideroad 25 in Innisfil.
Once on scene, officers learned that a southbound vehicle struck a vehicle that was parked on the west side of the road. No one was injured. The driver was arrested after a Fail was registered on a roadside screening device. Charged with Operation While Impaired and Operation While Impaired – Excess Blood Alcohol is 28-year-old Danielle Ratcliffe of Washago. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days. She was released with a future court date.
