Arrest in Thefts from Vehicles

(Bradford, ON) South Simcoe Police Service officers have made an arrest following several thefts from vehicles in Bradford.

On Thursday, August 6, 2020, around 1:00 a.m., police responded to the Professor Day Drive and Holland Street West area for a report of a man going through vehicles and stealing items. Police arrived on scene, located the man nearby and placed him under arrest. 35-year-old Frank Cota of Bradford was charged with Theft Under $5000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of Drugs (suspected cocaine), and three counts of Breach of Probation. He was released with a future court date. Stolen items were recovered and are being returned to the owners.
