SOUTH SIMCOE POLICE CHARGE MALE AFTER UTTERING THREATS

(BRADFORD, On) – On May 6, 2025, South Simcoe Police responded to a report of a threat. An investigation was conducted by South Simcoe Police Uniform Patrol that identified the suspect. Through the investigation, the South Simcoe Police Criminal Investigation Bureau assisted with the investigation and executed a search warrant. As a result, on May 7, 2025, the suspect was arrested and charged with uttering threats and failing to comply with a probation order. A 38-year-old male from Bradford West Gwillimbury faces three Criminal Code charges of:

  • Uttering Threats to Cause Death – s.264.1(1)(a) x 2
  • Failing to Comply with a Probation Order – s.733.1(1)

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
