SOUTH SIMCOE POLICE CHARGE FEMALE AND MALE IN BREAK AND ENTER IN THE TOWN OF INNISFIL
(INNISFIL, ONTARIO) – On June 9, 2025, at approximately 12:11 a.m., South Simcoe Police responded to the report of a break and enter at a property on Thomas Street in the Town of Innisfil. Police arrived on scene and observed a grey Jaguar with the front passenger window shattered and fingerprint markings on the passenger side door. As the investigation continued, additional officers and members of the canine unit attended to assist. Soon after, officers observed a blue Toyota Rav 4 with significant front-end damage parked on the 9th Line of Innisfil with a female seated inside the vehicle. After further investigation, it was determined that the female was wanted on an outstanding warrant for firearms related offences with York Regional Police. Upon arrest it was determined that the female was in possession of suspected methamphetamine. As a result, a 33-year-old female from Mississauga was arrested and charged with:

– Break and Enter place – intent to commit indictable offence x 2
– Mischief Under $5000 S 430(4) CC x 3
– Possession of Stolen Property obtained by crime S. 354(1)(a) CC
– Fail to comply with undertaking S. 145(4)(a) x2
– Possession of Scheduled I – other drugs S. 4(1)(a) CDSA
Through the investigation, members of the canine unit were alerted to another location on the 9th Line in Innisfil, where a male was located. As a result, a 31-year-old male from North York was arrested and charged with:

– Fail to comply with release order S. 145(5)(a) CC x 8
– Break and Enter place – intent to commit indictable offence x 2
– Mischief Under $5000 S 430(4) CC
– Possession of Stolen Property obtained by crime S. 354(1)(a) CC
The male was also wanted by York Regional Police for firearms related offences.
Both accused were held pending a bail hearing.
