Eight Arrests Following Drug Trafficking Investigation in Bradford
(Bradford, ON) The South Simcoe Police Service (SSPS) Street Crime Unit arrested eight people and seized a quantity of drugs following a recent investigation into drug trafficking at two homes in Bradford. Through investigation, a drug search warrant was granted for properties, outbuildings and vehicles at the addresses which were located on the same street in the Simcoe Road and Centre Street area.
On Friday, January 29, 2021, the warrant was executed simultaneously at the properties by the SSPS Street Crime Unit with the assistance of the SSPS Emergency Response Unit, the K9 Unit, the Barrie Police Emergency Response Unit and uniformed officers.
Police seized approximately 9 ounces of suspected cocaine between the two residences with an approximate street value of up to $25,000 along with other controlled substances.
Eight Bradford residents were arrested and charged:
34-year-old Kyle Cabral: Drug Trafficking and Possession, Breach of Release Order X 2
42-year-old Shaun Baker: Drug Trafficking and Possession, Breach of Release Order X 3
39-year-old Philip Pontes: Drug Trafficking and Possession
54-year-old Margaret Campbell: Drug Possession
28-year-old Patrick Rivers: Drug Trafficking and Possession
47-year-old Roberto Procaccino: Drug Trafficking and Possession
26-year-old Kyla Ryan-O’Conner: Drug Trafficking and Possession
36-year-old Christina Jenkins: Drug Trafficking and Possession
The accused were released with future court dates.
