PROACTIVE PATROL LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVING ARREST

(BRADFORD, ON) – On May 11, 2025, at approximately 3:50 a.m., while conducting proactive patrol, South Simcoe Police observed a White Nissan Rogue stopped in the live lane on West Park Avenue in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

South Simcoe Police conducted an investigation and determined the driver was sleeping while the vehicle was running. After further investigation, two breath samples were provided and as a result, a 28-year-old male from Bradford was arrested and charged with Operation while impaired, and Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (over 80). His licence was suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle was impounded. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on June 5, 2025.

South Simcoe Police reminds the public to always consume alcohol and cannabis responsibly. Do not drive if you will be consuming alcohol or cannabis and be sure to plan ahead to ensure you have a safe ride to and from your destination.
