Impaired Arrest
(Bradford, ON) On Friday, September 13, 2024, at approximately 2:40 p.m., the South Simcoe Police Service received a report of a vehicle driving aggressively and swerving out of its lane in the area of Line 8 and Yonge Street in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Police quickly located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. After approximately 15 attempts, the accused failed the roadside breath test. The accused was arrested and transported to the North Division.
As a result, a 43-year-old female from Innisfil was charged with Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration.
Impaired driving is a crime in progress. If you spot a suspected impaired driver, safely call 911 and we will respond. Because of this citizen’s diligence, we were able to keep our roads safe for everyone. Thank you for working with us.
