Impaired Driving/Over 80
(Innisfil, ON) A 63-year-old Bradford man was charged with impaired driving offences after a South Simcoe Police Service officer pulled over an erratic driver.
On Sunday, October 20, 2019, around 5:30 p.m., the officer conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle driving erratically and at varying speeds northbound on the 10th Sideroad from County Road 89 in Innisfil. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to North Division. Breath tests resulted in readings over the legal limit of alcohol. As a result, a 63-year-old Bradford man was charged with Impaired Driving, Over 80 and Novice Driver BAC above zero. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
Theft of Construction Equipment
(Bradford, ON) South Simcoe Police Service officers are appealing for the public’s help following the theft of construction equipment in Bradford.
On Friday October 18, 2019, around 7:00 a.m., police responded to the extension of Professor Day Drive north of Line 8 for a report of a stolen Skid Steer Loader and some attachments. Police learned that the equipment was taken sometime between 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 and 5:45 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019.
The stolen equipment was:
