Impaired Driving

(Bradford, ON) On Sunday, October 31, 2021, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the South Simcoe Police Service responded to the area of Colborne Street and Britannia Avenue in Bradford for a report of a possible impaired driver. Police conducted a traffic stop and the driver was arrested.
As a result of the investigation, 59-year-old Gregory Petersen of Bradford was charged with Operation While Impaired and Operation While Impaired – Excess Blood Alcohol. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days. He was released with a future court date.

From Friday, October 29, 2021, to Monday, November 1, 2021, the South Simcoe Police Service responded to 188 calls for service.
