Renewed Appeal for Witnesses to Fatal Collision
(Bradford, ON) South Simcoe Police Service officers are making a renewed appeal for witnesses to a collision that claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Bradford.
On Saturday, May 16, 2020, around 5:30 p.m., officers were called to a three-vehicle collision on Yonge Street north of the 9th Line. The investigation has determined that a white Hyundai Veloster travelling northbound, struck a black Audi SUV travelling southbound. A secondary collision then occurred involving the white Hyundai and a southbound blue Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 35-year-old East Gwillimbury man, died at the scene.
The driver of the Hyundai was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Further investigation at the hospital resulted in the driver, a 37-year-old Holland Landing woman, being arrested and charged with Impaired Driving Causing Death and Dangerous Driving Causing Death.
