Impaired Driving/Drug Possession/Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
(Bradford, ON) On Saturday, June 26, 2021, at approximately 5:00 p.m., the South Simcoe Police Service was called regarding a possible impaired driver on Holland Street West in Bradford. Police located the vehicle at a fast food restaurant and the accused was arrested. A quantity of illicit drugs was seized from inside of the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, 38-year-old Tammy Martin of Toronto was charged with Operation While Impaired, Operation While Impaired – Blood Drug Concentration, Possession of Drugs including suspected cocaine, and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days. She was released with a future court date.

(Bradford, ON) On Sunday, June 27, 2021, at approximately 3:30 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Holland Street West and
Barrie Street in Bradford. The driver was placed under arrest for impaired driving.
As a result of the investigation, 28-year-old Eloy Alvarado Gil of Bradford was charged with Operation While Impaired – Excess Blood Alcohol. His licence was suspended for
90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days. He was released with a future court date.
Impaired driving is the leading criminal cause of death and injury in Canada. Impaired is impaired regardless of the substance consumed.
From Friday, June 25, 2021, to Monday, June 28, 2021, the South Simcoe Police Service responded to 189 calls for service.
