Impaired Driving Charges

(Bradford, ON) On Saturday, April 24, 2021, at approximately 4:30 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to an address in the Fletcher Street and Barrie Street area of Bradford for a report of an unwanted guest. Upon arrival, police observed a vehicle driving away erratically from the scene. Officers located the vehicle nearby pulled over to the side of the road. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to South Division.

As a result of the investigation, 27-year-old Aaronisha Murray of Toronto was charged with Operation While Impaired and Operation While Impaired – Excess Blood Alcohol.
Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days. Her passenger, 26-year-old Jadee Bachelor Thompson of Toronto, was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.

(Bradford, ON) On Saturday, April 24, 2021, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer stopped a vehicle for speeding on Dissette Street in Bradford. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to South Division.

As a result of the investigation, 32-year-old Crystal Rose of Newmarket was charged with Operation While Impaired and Operation While Impaired – Excess Blood Alcohol.
Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days.

Every day, on average, up to 4 Canadians are killed and many more are injured in alcohol and/or drug-related motor vehicle crashes. Impaired driving is totally preventable. Plan ahead and do your part for road safety.

 

From Friday, April 23, 2021, to Monday, April 26, 2021, South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to 187 calls for service.
