Vehicles, Garage Targeted by Thieves in Bond Head

(Bradford, ON) South Simcoe Police Service officers are investigating the theft of a vehicle, several thefts from vehicles and a garage entry overnight in Bond Head.
The investigation has determined that a 2016, black, Acura MDX was stolen at approximately 5:45 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021, from the driveway of a home in the Line 7 and Dixon Road area. Police also received several reports from the same neighbourhood of vehicles being entered overnight and items taken. A garage was also entered.

South Simcoe Police Service wants to remind residents to always lock their vehicles and remove valuables. Ensure your garages are closed and locked. Keep key fobs well away from the front door. Thieves count on keys being near the front door to obtain them easily or steal your vehicle by using an electronic device to override your car’s computer system and drive it away. If you see suspicious activity in your area, call police immediately.
