3-Day Suspension/Speeding/Disobey Stop Sign  

(Innisifl, ON) A 28-year-old Barrie woman was charged with speeding, disobeying a stop sign and received a three-day licence suspension after a traffic stop in Innisfil.  

On Thursday, September 12, 2019, around 11:30 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer observed a vehicle on Line 4 in the Churchill area fail to stop for a posted stop sign and continue westbound narrowly missing other traffic. The vehicle was then clocked travelling 116 km/h in the posted 80 km/h zone. The officer conducted a vehicle stop and after speaking with the driver a roadside screening device test was done. The test resulted in a caution. A 28-year-old Barrie woman had her licence suspended for three days. She was charged with speeding and disobeying a stop sign.
