(Innisfil, ON) South Simcoe Police Service officers are appealing for the public’s help following a stabbing in Innisfil.  

On Friday, October 26, 2018 around 12:45 a.m., police were called to a report of a disturbance in the Innisfil Beach Rd. and St. John’s Rd. area. Investigation revealed an altercation had occurred in the parking lot outside of a bar. A 27-year-old Innisfil man was taken to hospital where he was treated and released for non-life-threatening stab wounds.  

There was a large crowd of people in the parking lot at the time of the altercation. Investigators want to hear anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information. (Innisfil, ON) A youth has been charged with Arson following a house fire in Innisfil. 

On Monday, October 22, 2018 around 11:00 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service and Innisfil Fire and Rescue Services responded to a report of a structure fire in the St. John’s Rd. and 7th Line area. The occupants managed to escape the fire unhurt. A pet dog perished. As a result of investigation, a youth has been charged with Arson and Killing an Animal. Due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA) no further information can be released.
