Police Seek Public Help to Catch Fraudsters

(Bradford, ON) South Simcoe Police Service officers are seeking the public’s help to solve a fraud committed on an elderly Bradford couple.

On Thursday, June 4, 2020, around 2:00 p.m., the seniors received a call from an unknown female who threatened the victims with police action if they didn’t go to the bank and withdraw a sum of cash. The frightened couple complied. The female suspect then instructed the victims to leave the money outside their home which is located in the Holland Street West and Langford Boulevard area. A male suspect picked up the cash and fled on foot to a nearby waiting vehicle.

The male suspect is described as:

Possible Indian decent

5’5″

Stocky build

Black shorts

Black shirt

Black shoes

Medical mask

The suspect vehicle is a white, 4 door, Mazda 3. Photos are attached:
