Suspect Vehicle Photos Released in Bradford Hit-and-Run Investigation

(Bradford, ON) The South Simcoe Police Service is releasing images of two suspect vehicles involved in a hit-and-run in Bradford.

On Friday, January 22, 2021, at 6:51 p.m., a Bradford woman was struck by a vehicle as she crossed West Park Avenue on Holland Street West. Sixteen seconds later, the victim was struck by a second vehicle as she lay on the road. Both drivers fled the scene. The entire incident was captured on security camera video which indicates both drivers knew they struck someone. The first suspect vehicle sped off at a high rate of speed, running red lights as it travelled eastbound along Holland Street West. The second suspect vehicle left the scene southbound on West Park Avenue.

The victim, identified as 65-year-old Jesuina Pereira, remains in serious condition in a Toronto trauma centre.

Investigators are releasing security camera images of the suspect vehicles in an effort to locate the vehicles and identify the drivers.

Suspect Vehicle #1: white, SUV, believed to be a Range Rover

Suspect Vehicle #2: silver or grey sedan with a black roof
