Junior Chiefs For A Day
(Innisfil/Bradford, ON) South Simcoe Police Service is proud to announce the selection of our Junior Chiefs For A Day 2024.
On Wednesday, August 28, 2024, Noelle Peirce and Daniel Barkan will get an inside look at the South Simcoe Police Service during a fun-filled and educational day as Junior Chiefs for a day.
The two Chiefs were chosen out of dozens of entries in our Junior Chief For A Day essay-writing contest that was open to students who are going into grade 6 in Bradford West Gwillimbury and Innisfil. Students were asked to explain why they wanted to be Chief for a day. Noelle wants to work with another role model for girls, Deputy Chief Sutton. Daniel wants to learn about our various units and what they do to support our communities.
The Junior Chiefs have a packed schedule that begins at the North Division in Innisfil.
We look forward to welcoming our young Chiefs and showing them what we do!
