3 Day Suspension 

(Bradford, ON) A 52-year-old Bradford man was issued a three day licence suspension during a RIDE program in Bradford.

On Friday, August 23, 2019 around 12:30 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were conducting a RIDE program at West Park Avenue and Miller Park Avenue. A vehicle pulled up to an officer who detected an odour of alcohol and demanded a roadside screening device test. A caution was registered resulting in a three day licence suspension for a 52-year-old Bradford man.

South Simcoe Police Service officers conduct RIDE programs throughout the year as part of our ongoing road safety initiatives. About 1 in 4 fatal motor vehicle collisions involve a drunk driver. That is too many. Do your part for community safety and drive sober or plan your ride.
