Impaired Driving Charges Laid After Motorcycle Struck

(Bradford, ON)  On Thursday, August 5, 2021 at approximately 6:00 p.m.,  South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a collision at the intersection of the 11th line and the 5th Sideroad in Bradford.  Upon arrival officers learned that a Mississauga man in his 60’s had been operating his motorcycle when he was struck by a vehicle.  As a result of the collision, the motorcycle operator sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital.  The driver of the vehicle was arrested.

As a result of the investigation,  23-year-old Duncan Peters of Barrie has been charged with:

-Operation While Impaired
-Operation While Impaired – Excess Blood Alcohol
-Two counts of breach of probation under the Provincial offences act

The investigation continues.
