Impaired Driving Charge Follows Fail to Remain Collision

(Bradford, ON) On Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at approximately 9:08 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to a report of a fail to remain collision in the parking lot of a store on Holland Street West in Bradford. The victim told police that a vehicle attempting to park struck her parked vehicle and then left the scene. There were no injuries. Police subsequently went to a home in Innisfil where an arrest was made. As a result of the investigation, 32-year-old Kelsie Aitchison of Innisfil was charged with Operation While Impaired, Operation While Impaired – Excess Blood Alcohol and Fail to Remain. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days. She was released with a future court date.

Single Vehicle Collision Leads to Multiple Charges

(Bradford, ON) On Monday, May 10, 2021, at approximately 10:00 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision on County Road 88 east of Highway 400 in Bradford.
Upon arriving at the scene, police learned that an eastbound vehicle had crossed four lanes of traffic and rolled over in the north ditch. Police located the driver at a nearby gas station where he was taken into custody. K9 was called to conduct a narcotics search of the vehicle and a quantity of suspected cocaine was seized.

As a result of the investigation, 18-year-old Christian Roshi of Brampton was charged with Possession for the Purpose, Obstruct Peace Officer, Failure to Comply With Judicial Release (2 counts), Careless Driving and Drive Vehicle – No Licence. He was released with a future court date.
