(Bradford, ON) On February 12, 2018, South Simcoe Police responded to Newmarket Court regarding an outstanding warrant issued in October 2017. The accused was arrested and charged for Theft Under $5000 in September 2017 by South Simcoe Police and was released on a promise to appear in court in October, at which time she failed to attend. As a result, a bench warrant was issued for the 33 year old woman. The accused was on a condition of an unrelated charge from a Newmarket Court that required her to attend all court appearances as required. The female was charged with Fail to Attend Court and Breach of Recognizance. She was held for a bail hearing.
